Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of young midfielder Archie Gray from Leeds United in a deal that includes Joe Rodon in a swap deal.
“I’m really excited. It’s obviously a massive club and it’s an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. I’m just really excited to get going and get started with the team. I’m just really excited and looking forward to it. It’s a massive opportunity for me, so I’m really excited,” Gray said.
The 18-year-old midfielder was close to joining Brentford after undergoing a medical, however the deal fell through after Leeds were unhappy with the offer.
However, it was Spurs who stepped in and triggered the release clause to sign Gray, with the clause triggered after Leeds failed to secure promotion to the ยูฟ่าเบท Premier League.

Gray will sign a long-term contract with Spurs until 2030 and will wear the No. 14 shirt and becomes Tottenham’s third summer signing following the arrivals of Timo Werner and Lucas Bergvall.
