Chelsea have announced the signing of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City for £30m.
“It’s fantastic to be here as a Chelsea player. This is a club that people grew up watching and hopefully played for one day. So it’s an honour to be here. I’m really excited to get started and can’t wait to show everyone what I can do,” Dewsbury-Hall said.
Dewsbury-Hall had previously been linked with a move to Brighton & Hove Albion and had already agreed a deal with Leicester. But the player opted against the move, preferring to join Chelsea.
Finally, Chelsea continued to negotiate and reached an agreement with Leicester for a fee of 30 million pounds and signed a contract until 2030.
Dewsbury-Hall’s move was also completed ahead of Sunday’s Financial Fair Play deadline. Meaning his fee will help the Foxes’ financial situation.
Dewsbury-Hall is a product of Leicester’s academy and has made almost 200 first-team appearances, including 80 in the สมัคร ufabet Premier League.
