Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson felt it was not a good idea to see Trent Alexander-Arnold booed by Liverpool fans during the 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

“In the first five or 10 minutes, both teams couldn’t quite settle in, but then we started to find our rhythm and scored two good goals. We dominated the game. In the second half, the first 10 minutes, we kind of switched off. They slowly but surely came back into the game and then we came back and were strong until the end when they were down to 10 men. It was 2-2, two good teams. There’s still room for improvement.”
On his offside goal: “I might have been แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ offside but I created chances and I’m happy to have the assist (for the first goal) and it’s my 60th (assist), so hopefully I can do it again. I’m happy to have another one today.”
On Trent Alexander-Arnold congratulating him for his assist, he said: “We always appreciate each other for assists and contributions. It’s been a big part of our game for the eight years we’ve played together. We always look out for each other and it’s great to see him coming to me again.”
On Alexander-Arnold’s passing: “It’s disappointing to lose a good friend. He was a great player and a good person. He pushed me through and made me a better player. His legacy will live on forever. He did so much for this club. We will miss him as one of the best mates in the game of football. We’ve been through so much together. He took me to levels I’ve never known before. It wasn’t easy for Trent but he made his decision. It’s not nice to see him get booed but you can’t tell people how to feel. That’s how I feel and I’m not going to tell anyone how to feel.”
