Newcastle have given AC Milan an ultimatum to keep their asking price for defender Fikayo Tomori at no more than £25.3m (€30m) as they will look to other targets.

Newcastle Chronicle report that a new centre-back is a top priority for St James’ Park in the January 2025 transfer window and he must be a homegrown player.

Back to the 27-year-old player who moved from สมัคร ufabet กับเรา รับโบนัสทันที Chelsea to play for Milan since the 2021-22 season, more than three years have passed, winning 1 Scudetto, with the current contract running until June 2027.

The change of head coach from Paulo Fonseca to Sergio Conceica has also left the England defender in doubt about his future.

Therefore, he is looking for a way to return to play in the English Premier League.

It is now up to Milan to decide whether to accept Newcastle’s offer of no more than £25.3m or bide their money on the player in order to sell him for a higher price in the summer.

Two of the Magpies ‘ centre-backs are also entering the final six months of their contracts, Fabian Schar and Jamal Lascelles .

Tomori has lost his place in the Milan side this season and has played just 103 minutes in Serie A since starting in a 2-1 defeat against Fiorentina in October.

Brown, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, insisted that he expects Newcastle to make a move to bring him back to England this month.
