‘Ajax’ appoint ‘Shreuder’ in place of ‘Ten Hag’ who steered Manchester United

Ajax have signed Club Brugge coach Alfred Schreuder as their new manager replacing. Erik ten Hag is set to move to Manchester United on a two-year contract year. It has a condition that can be extended for an additional 1 year

Last season’s Eredivisie champions Ajax Amsterdam have appointed Club Brugge head coach Alfred Schreuder as their new manager on a two-year contract. Option to extend the contract for another year It will take the role of Eric Ten Hag, who is preparing to move to Manchester United manager after the end of this season.

“Being a head coach at Ajax is an honor and a great opportunity for me. I’m going to grab it with both hands,” said Schreuder, who worked as Ten Hag’s assistant in 2018. “It’s great to be back. Because I had a good time at Ajax for half the year I worked at the UFABET club.” 

The 49-year-old started his football career at Feyenoord in 1991 before hanging up his boots in 2009, playing for Vitesse as his last club. and turned himself into the team of Twente in 2014 and Hoffenheim 2019, where he was also an assistant to Ronald Koeman in the Barcelona team in 2020 before taking the position of head coach at Club Bruges 

Ajax chief executive Edwin van der Sar said he knew Alfred as a tactical coach. There is a good training system and it is versatile. He was very confident that he would be able to continue the path of the team a few years ago. Both in the Eredivisie and in the UEFA Champions League.
